What is the NinjaChat MCP server?

A hosted Model Context Protocol server at https://www.ninjachat.ai/api/mcp that gives any MCP-capable agent 21 creative tools over 22 image, video and voice models — generation from $0.003, editing, and video on Veo 3.1, Seedance 2, and Kling 2.6. Nothing to install or run locally.

Which agents and apps can connect?

claude.ai and ChatGPT connect as custom connectors over OAuth — you sign in, no key pasting. Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and VS Code (Copilot agent mode) connect with an nj_sk_ API key in an Authorization header. Any other MCP client that speaks HTTP works the same way.

How does pricing work?

Provider rates pass through: images start at $0.003, edits at $0.039, and video is priced per second for the duration and provider. NinjaChat adds a transparent 8% service fee when credits are funded, not a hidden model markup. estimate_cost quotes every job before it runs.

Can I make voiceovers?

Yes. Turn your script into narration with nine AI voices. Download MP3 or WAV, ready for your edit. Standard speech costs $0.015 per 1,000 characters; HD costs $0.03. Your AI quotes the script before you approve. Audio and video are delivered as separate files.

What stops an agent from overspending?

Three server-side guardrails: a monthly spending limit that hard-stops the account, automatic refunds when a generation fails, and idempotent requests so retries never double-bill. compare_models additionally takes an explicit budget cap per bakeoff.

Are the projects on this page real?

The brands are fictional; the outputs are real. Images and video were generated with NinjaChat's models. The TAKT website is built HTML, shown as a screenshot; the AERA film combines generated clips. The workflow display is an example, not a live agent session. The spending preview does not change your account.

Is NinjaChat an alternative to Higgsfield MCP?

Need help connecting?

Use a desktop browser with an account or workspace that allows custom MCP connections. If a setting is missing, check your plan or ask your workspace admin.

Open connector settings. In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”. Your account and workspace must allow custom connectors.
Paste the NinjaChat endpoint. Name it NinjaChat and paste the server URL — nothing else to configure.
Sign in when prompted. Sign in to NinjaChat and approve the connection. No API key needed. Enable NinjaChat in each chat or project where you want to use it.
Ask Claude to make something. Start a new chat and enable NinjaChat in the tools menu.
